Maritimo C.F is a Prasian football team from Villa García, San Luis. The team plays in the First Division, of which it is the current champion. The team is coached by former Prasian international player Luis Carrillo Miranda and plays at the Estadio Mariano Landajo in San Luis.
The club was founded in 1934 by a group of former Argentine and Peruvian amateur footballers who had emigrated to Prasia to work at the dockyards in Puerto Guillerme. The team played their early matches against other teams in the San Luis area and a quick rivalry formed with fellow San Luis team Villa Mateo UD.
The team was invited to participate in the first edition of the First Division in 1948, although the team was unsuccessful at first, narrowly missing relegation several times. Maritimo C.F went professional in 1954 and in the decade that followed, new management helped the team win its first First Division title in 1957 and narrowly manage to defend it the following year.
The team lost its good form during the late 1970s and early 1980s, failing to finish in the top three of the First Division for four consecutive seasons. However, the appointment of former captain Santiago Ayerza as manager in 1983 saw the club's fortunes begin to turn.
This form continued into the 1990s, which saw the club win three league titles.
In 2008, the Estadio Luzaga was renovated, expanding the capacity from 15,000 to 21,000.
