As part of the Prasian infrastructure, Prasia has different classifications for roads. The first road in Prasia was built when it was under Spain's control. In the 1940s, a major effort by the government built and expanded the old and new roads throughout the country. In the 1950s, the Autopista system was created as well as state highways throughout the country.
There are a few autopistas throughout Prasian Island, linking important cities. In some urban areas or in the rural parts of the island, there are auxillary autopistas.
